UNDER THE JUNIPER TREE
CHAPEL
FOUNDATIONAL
SCRIPTURE
But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and
came and sat down UNDER A JUNIPER TREE: and he requested for himself that
he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O Lord, take away my life; for
I am no better than my fathers.
And as he lay and slept UNDER THE JUNIPER TREE, behold, then
an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat. And he looked.
and, behold there was a cake baken on the coals, And a cruse of water at
his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again.
And the angel of the Lord came again the second time, and
touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for
thee. And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of
that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God.

HISTORY
UNDER THE JUNIPER TREE
CHAPEL was founded on October 1, 2008
in the City of Prince Albert. The church is operated under the auspices of
and is affiliated with Open Bible Faith Fellowship of Canada ( www.obff.com).
This relatively new church is looking for "new" church
growth, not "transfer" growth. So, if you are looking for a church to
attend, you are welcome to attend. However, if you are currently attending
elsewhere, continue to attend there unless you get proper release from
your pastor or priest to leave.
This young, small church employs a strictly "educational"
model of service.

STATEMENT OF FAITH
UNDER THE JUNIPER TREE
CHAPEL operates under the same statement of faith as CHAKAM School of the
Bible.
KEY OPERATIONAL PRINCIPLES
UNDER THE JUNIPER TREE
CHAPEL
- will never enter into any worldly debt of any
kind (Romans 13:8)
- will always operate on a "tithing principle"
and give a minimum of ten percent of its total income to missions
(Malachi 3:10; Matthew 23:23)
- handles all of its disputes and provides
counsel only in a purely Biblical way (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
- promotes relational evangelism, solely based on
love for our fellow human beings, and the most ideal way of gaining
people for Jesus (Romans 13:10)
- believes that only Jesus is building His church
and that we, believers, are His helpers. UNDER THE JUNIPER TREE
CHAPEL
believes to assist Jesus in building His church only through "new
growth" (i.e. born again believers or those called by the Father [John
6:44] and not "transfer growth" (i.e. those moving from local church
congregation to local church congregation). Consequently, "believers"
will not be accepted unless they have received a proper release from
their previous pastor or priest (Matthew 16:18)
- believes that the spiritual discipline of "study" is crucial in the
life of the believer (2 Timothy 2:15). Each regular attendee will
receive a free new book at the end of each
month.
