Jubilation Program:
"And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me" - Matthew 18:5
Vision
Jubilation program is a Christ-centered ministry (Colosians 3:23-24) committed to upholding the sanctity of human life (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 139:13-16) by demonstrating the love of Christ to women facing pregnancy (crisis pregnancy), through the provision of spiritual, physical, and emotional support (Matthew 25:40) and by proclaiming the Gospel (Mark 16:15; Deuteronomy 30:19-20)
History
Jubilation Residential Centres Inc., also known as Jubilation Program, officially started in the early 90's. Initially they operated a residential centre for pregnant teens/adolescents and young single moms with children. The house operated without any government financing for almost three full years and was closed due to financial pressures. The Board of Directors decided to continue on an outpatient basis. Over the last 16 years, it has offered a variety of services (see Programs Offered below) to some 500 parents and more than 500 children.
Within the last 2 to 3 years, the focus of the program has somewhat changed to a group approach mainly offering life and social skills training, pre-vocational preparation, and educational planning.
