CENTRE FOR EXCELLENCE IN INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENTInternational development is a concept that lacks a universally accepted definition, but it is most used in a holistic and multi-disciplinary context of human development - the development of livelihood and greater quality of life for humans. The CENTRE FOR EXCELLENCE IN INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT is an international development agency used to design and deliver community-based programs encompassing foreign aid, governance, health care, education, gender equality, disaster preparedness, infrastructure, economics, human rights, environment, and other issues associated with these. This relatively new organization was federally incorporated by Industry Canada under the Canada Corporations Act on July 7th, 2009. The corporation is also incorporated as a Non - Profit organization in the Province of Saskatchewan. Charitable status has been established as of September 10, 2010. Charity registration number is 852691864RR0001.

ACTION PLANS CEID will try to accomplish its objectives through programming in line with and as a response to the United Nations Millenium Development Goals and Targets : Goal One - Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger Goal Two - Achieve universal primary education Goal Three - Promote gender equality and empower women Goal Four - Reduce child mortality Goal Five - Improve maternal health Goal Six - Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria, and other diseases Goal Seven - Ensure environmental sustainability Goal Eight - Develop a global
